Hello, crafty friends! It's been quite a while since I last wrote anything here. Well, it's been really busy here for the last couple of days, but luckily I've got some time to hop onto the blog to share with you some of my recent creations. Today I would like to show you a card featuring the newly released stamp set "Cheerful Hedgehog" by Gerda Steiner Designs. I simply fell in love with these cuties once I saw them and couldn't but purchase them that very day. These guys will definitely give you an opportunity to create lots of different scenes on your cards. And now here is what I came up for my very first creation:

Since we still have a couple of sunny days left, I've decided to place one of the cutest hedgehogs ever on a far, far away island with breathtaking views:)

I hope you've liked today's card! Have a nice day and thanks for stopping by!

CDD August Release Blog Hop - Day 1

Welcome to the Craftin Desert Divas August Release Blog Hop. We have some wonderful stamps and dies that we will be sharing with you.

All stamps are in the CDD shop and now available for purchase HERE.

We also offer SVG stamp outlines for .99 only, they work perfectly with your cutting machine. You must have a program that opens these files. This is a great alternative to coordinating dies and much less expensive.

Here's what I've created for you:

For today's project I've decided to go with "Your Wish" clear stamp set and create a shaker card! First, I've created a frame and made the background with Distress Inks and a blending tool. After it dried, I white heat embossed the sentiment in the top right corner and sprinkled some water and white paint on the whole background paper piece to make it look like a starry night sky. I then colored a genie with her cute little friend with Copic markers and then placed them on the card. To finish off my project I added some sequins and foam tape on the background - and it was done! :)

And now here are the specials for this release:
**New Shimmer sequins will be on SALE for $1.00.
**FREE SHIPPING with minimum on orders placed.
Shipping minimum orders:
$10 USA use Code: 10SHIP
$15 International use Code: 15SHIP

Enjoy this special for in stock items only 8/22 thru 8/31 at 10pm MST.
All Stamps and Dies are made in the USA.

Your next stop is the super talented: Leah

Hope you've enjoyed today's inspiration and thanks so much for stopping by!

And here is what I came up with:

For today's card I've decided to get back to ink smooshing - a technique that I haven't used for quite a long time now. I first smooshed the panel with Picked Raspberry distress ink, let it dry and then adhered it on the patterned paper panel. All stamps were colored with Copic markers and fussy-cut so that they can be placed in the middle of the scene. Once it was completed, I stamped a sentiment onto the card and then added sequins to the trees.

I guess this is it for today:) Hope you all have enjoyed this inspiration for the current Linky Party at Craftin Desert Divas and got inspired to join our challenge!

Craftin Desert Divas August Release - Sneak Peak Day 2

Hello, crafty friends! Today starts sneak peek day 2 over at Craftin Desert Divas and we are showcasting our projects made with the new Bug Squad Stamps and Scribbled Circle Dies. And here is the card I came up with for today:

The Bug Squad turned out to be a perfect set for creating cards for boys. This little squad will definitely inspire you for lots of great projects, you just need to pick up a right bug for your loved ones:) To create this card I used Fancy Frame dies to cut off the panels, colored some of them with Distress Inks and then placed all the images on the central panel. I also added some sprinkles to finish off the card.

I hope you've enjoyed today's card.
Thank you for stopping by and have an awesome crafty day!

And now, without further ado, here is the first part of the cards - winter and spring ones:

Now will just need to find some time to create summer and autumn part of my project.
Stay tuned!:)

The Sky Is The Limit

Hello, crafty friends! I'm stopping by today to share a recent card of mine made for my turn for a daily post over at the CDD blog. Since I haven't done too many interactive cards before, and I was eager to try out some ideas, I've decided to go ahead and create one simple interactive card for my post today. The first thing I though of was to use Hero Bear Airplane - a sweet digital stamp that appeared at the CDD store this summer. After coloring it with Copics, I adhered the fussy-cut image to the foam for more sturdiness.

The plane was then attached through the slit in the background panel to the the sentiment strip which was stamped with one of  the sentiments from The Sky Is The Limit set. I added the word "pull" on the drawn circle, some birds and a sentiment on the front panel to finish off my card.

As the sentiment strip is fully extended, the plane "flies" across the card front:

Well, it was fun to try something new. I hope you've enjoyed today's card.
Thank you for stopping by! Have an awesome crafty day!
